The purpose of establishing Beena Singh Mahavidyalaya, Baraon, Karchhana, Prayagraj was not only to establish an educational institution but also to lead the society, especially the people of rural areas, towards a new direction and progress. Education is the basic foundation of prosperity of any nation, which provides a strong and sustainable future to the society and the nation. In a country like India, where the youth population is the highest in the world, it is the utmost duty of the nation to educate the youth because this youth power is the energy of the present and the hope of the future. To fulfill this great objective, I laid the foundation of Beena Singh Mahavidyalaya. This was my first major endeavor in the field of education, and I am proud that this Mahavidyalaya has emerged as an important milestone in this great path of education. As an educationist, it was my duty and responsibility to provide not only education but high quality, employment oriented and affordable education to the youth of my area, so that the students of our rural areas can join the mainstream of society and the nation. Today, when I look back, the success of this institution and its achievements are a matter of immense pride for me. I was well aware that all-round development of society is not possible without education, and with this idea Beena Singh Mahavidyalaya was established. The foundation of this Mahavidyalaya was laid in the year 2010 in the full memory of late Smt. Beena Singh, the source of inspiration, to provide high quality higher education to the students of rural areas. Beena Singh Mahavidyalaya , famous as the cultural city of India, is located in Baraon village of Karchana development block in the rural area of Yamunapar region of Prayagraj, which is continuously flowing the triveni of knowledge, devotion and sadhana. The background of this Mahavidyalaya is the clean and healthy tradition of historical, religious and educational achievements of Prayagraj. The management system has prepared this garden of the Mahavidyalaya in Baraon, Karchana development block, to make the new future of rural students bloom and flourish by implementing its personal experiences. Along with this, by making it a step of its sadhana in its field of work, it is constantly striving to take the Mahavidyalaya to the highest peak of development. The Mahavidyalaya campus is beautiful, clean, safe and full of all facilities. The needs and facilities of daily life are fulfilled in the Mahavidyalaya . Education is the foundation of any civilized society and in an ideal society, the aim of education is to ensure the all-round development of the individual so that human qualities can be fully developed in them. Education not only helps in the progress of society but it also strengthens the physical and mental health of the individual. Keeping these high ideals in mind, Honorable Kunwar Revati Raman Singh ji established Madhavendra Intermediate College, Baraon in the year 1968 and Rani Girish Kumari Kanya Intermediate College, Baraon in the year 1999 and Beena Singh Mahavidyalaya, Baraon, Karchana, Prayagraj in the year 2013 to provide intermediate and graduate education to rural students. In today's era, the increasing influence of commercialism has made every person in the society a mere consumer. Due to this consumerist approach, a person is losing his humanity from nature and society. In this challenging time, a strong educational environment is needed to connect the society with positive attitude and balanced development. This college is affiliated to Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj. At the graduate level, the college has been given affiliation for subjects and courses (B.A. and B.Sc.) of Arts Faculty in Hindi Literature, English Literature, Sanskrit, History, Sociology, Political Science, Education and Science Faculty in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

Along with this, a study centre has been established in Beena Singh Mahavidyalaya affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj for admission in B.A., B.Sc., M.A., M.Sc, MSW, Library Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Post Graduate Diploma, Graduate Diploma, Certificate Course, (Single Subject Arts/Science) courses. Under this, admission has started in the following courses.

Recognition of college under section 2(f) of the UGC act, 1956. that the college is un-aided/self-financed and permanently affiliated Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj. I am further to say the name of the following college has been included in the of college prepared under section 2(f) of the UGC act, 1956. under the head Non-Government college teaching up to Bachelor's Degree.

Admission Process and Rules

Admission application form can be obtained from the college on every working day from 1st June. The admission process will follow the government orders of the University and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The application form must be filled carefully and submitted to the college office by the due date along with the full fee. The admission application form must have the signature of the student and his/her guardian at the appropriate place. It is also very important to mention your mobile or phone number. Admission form and rules can be obtained from the college office on every working day from 10 am to 2 pm.

The following forms must be submitted in two copies along with the admission application form.

✓ Photocopy of high school mark sheet/certificate.
✓ Photocopy of intermediate mark sheet/certificate.
✓ Original character certificate issued by the last institutional issue.
✓ Original transfer certificate issued by the last institutional issue.
✓ Photocopy of father's income certificate.
✓ Photocopy of caste certificate.
✓ Photocopy of residence certificate.
✓ Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
✓ Photocopy of Bank Passbook.
✓ Five Photographs (Coloured Passport Size Photo).
✓ Photocopy of Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID No.).

• Fee as determined by UP Government and University will be payable at graduation level.
• Fee amount once deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• All students should deposit their fee at the college office counter only.
• Students must obtain receipt of any type of payment.
• Students are expected to keep the receipt of fee deposit safe with them and present it in the college whenever required.

Subjects which will be selected by the students. Changes in it are not permitted. Under special circumstances, a student can change a subject within a week after admission. It is mandatory to obtain permission from the Principal to change a subject based on the recommendation of both the departments, leaving the subject which the student wants to take.

All students will be provided with an identity card from the college, which must be kept with them always. If the identity card is lost, an application will have to be made with a fine of Rs. 100/-. Thereafter, a duplicate identity card will be made with the permission of the Principal.

It is mandatory for the students to have a minimum attendance of 80% in each subject. In case of less attendance, they will not be able to appear in the semester examination. Continuous Internal Assessment Examination is mandatory for all. If they do not appear in the examination, they will be denied from appearing in the semester examination.

The university's semester examination forms are filled in October and March, along with this form, students have to attach a photocopy of their current semester result, Aadhar card and fee receipt, the university's semester examination forms will be given to the designated students, the form has to be filled and submitted in the office. Information about receiving and submitting the form will be given on the college notice board, WhatsApp, and college website, if the examination form is not filled, the student will not get the right to appear in the examination under any circumstances.

The college has a library equipped with modern useful books, equipment, facilities and furnishings for every subject. Many monthly magazines, weekly and daily magazines are available in the library. To get a library card, all the students have to contact the library president with their identity card and fee receipt and get both the Datia of the library card. So that he can be provided with the facility of the library.

The college has laboratories for various experimental subjects equipped with full-fledged equipment for the B.Sc. Faculty. For the proper development of the students, a language room, gas pipeline, laboratory equipped with chemical equipment, acids, electronics etc. is available.

The scholarship form will be accepted in the college only till the date fixed by the Social Welfare Department/Government. It will be mandatory to fill the scholarship form online for General Caste/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ OBC and Minority students within the given time and submit it in two copies along with all the forms with complete information.

A discipline committee has been formed to maintain discipline in the college which will directly and indirectly monitor the daily activities of each student, so no student should behave in such a way that the discipline committee has to take any kind of administrative action.

It is necessary for every student of the college to maintain the dignity of the college. Discipline and national character are necessary for the reconstruction of the country. This will be possible only when every person has dynamism, perseverance and a sense of service. It is necessary for every student to be disciplined. In case of indiscipline, students can be expelled from the college and can be punished financially. If a student has any complaint, it should be reported to the office. Well-behaved and disciplined students are rewarded by the college.

The college council has a huge playground where various types of sports like hockey, football, cricket, volleyball, and badminton etc. are available for the students. The management of sports will be done by a committee under the guidance of the Principal.

The college has a prescribed dress code for both male and female students. For male students, the condition is steel grey pants and white half or full sleeves. For female students, the prescribed dress is white salwar and grey kurta and white dupatta. In winters, navy blue coat or sweater is prescribed for male students and black sweater/cardigan is prescribed for female students. Without uniform, no entry will be given in the classes.

Annual Festival is organized in the college for the all-round development of the students. On this occasion, prize distribution and grand celebrations are organized for various competitions held throughout the year. Cultural programs are organized under the aegis of the cultural committee of the college.

There are different arrangements of hand pump, submersible and rain water (from tank) at different places in the campus for students to drink clean water.

It is mandatory for students who bring cycles to the college to keep their cycles, scooters on the stand. Keep the bicycle/scooter at the stand inside the college campus. Keeping it anywhere else is punishable.

Separate toilets have been arranged for boys and girls in the college.
